Qualifying English Test (QET), Academic Year 2009/2010
The QET will be held on Thu 19 November 2009 from 0900 to 1115. Students who do not meet the exemption criteria and have not yet sat for the QET are required to do so. Please check the QET website for the full information.

The NUS Logistics Institute – Asia Pacific (TLI - Asia Pacific) clinched the Education & Training Award at the Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards 2009. The Award is a recognition of TLI - Asia Pacific as a leader in the field of education and training in the supply chain and logistics industry in Asia.

The inauguration of the new premises of the NUS Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) was held on 19 November 2009. Inaugural "Frontiers in Cancer Science" conference shares advances and breakthroughs in cancer science

Themed "Frontiers in Cancer Science", the inaugural conference by the NUS Cancer Science Institute (CSI) held on 16 and 17 November brought together some 21 of the world's top cancer experts to share their latest advances and breakthroughs in the areas of cancer science, stem cell research and anti-cancer drug discoveries. The conference was organised to mark the institute’s first anniversary.

The Honourable Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia, announced the creation of a new Australian international scholarship programme "The Australia Awards" at the University Cultural Centre Theatre on 13 November 2009.

Buildings at NUS Bukit Timah Campus now a part of Singapore's Heritage

Six buildings in the campus of the Former Raffles College, now known as the NUS Bukit Timah Campus and home to the Law Faculty, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and four Research Institutes, will be preserved as National Monuments. This was announced by the National Heritage Board (NHB) on 11 November 2009.
